Setup MFA (Okta Verify) on a new Mobile
On your Computer or Tablet and old Mobile:
Goto https://ww.okta.com
In the top right corner of your Okta Homepage click on the small down arrow next to where it says your first name and shows WW underneath it,
then click on Settings in the drop down menu
On the settings page, scroll down until you see the Security Methods section on the right hand side and then under where it says Okta Verify please click on the Remove button to the right of the name of your Mobile device and click Yes when asked about 'Removing Okta Verify enrollment'
Enter your Okta password and then tap on Yes, it's me in the Okta Verify app on your soon to be old Mobile
On your Computer you will now need to scroll to the Security Methods section again and click the Setup button to the right of where it says Okta Verify and enter your Okta password again when requested
On the next window that appears please click on the Setup button at the bottom under the Okta Verify section and then very quickly after another new window will appear with a QR code, at this point please leave the screen as it is (you will come back to this screen during Step 17) and then grab your new Mobile and follow Step 7 onwards
On your New Mobile device:
Go to the App Store (iPhone) or Google Store (Android) App may not appear in the same spot as shown in the first screenshot
In the Search Field, type Okta Verify
Download the Okta Verify App
Tap Open to open the Okta Verify app
Tap Get Started
12. Tap Next
13. Tap Add Account
14. Tap Organization
15. Tap "Yes, Ready to scan."
16. Your mobile camera will open in the Okta Verify app and you can now scan the QR code showing on your Computer screen as you left it in Step 6
17. You may then be asked a few questions, such as do you want to enable FaceID if your mobile has this function and then tap Yes to set the connection as the Default when asked
18. You will now see a screen that says Account Added and then tap Done, MFA is now setup for your new Mobile!
19. You are now free to reset/wipe your old Mobile
